Nintendo always tries new ways of playing games, i.e. wii, power glove. 3ds is also a powerful system you never did mention the downloadable? games feature on the 3ds, I think that's a great feature (I know the DSi had it too). To me the 3d effect was never a gimmick, it is just another way to put a player deeper into the game. it was Nintendo's 2nd attempt at 3d mind you. And I applaud them for not abandoning the concept after a failed VR32

they remade this game for the wii,ps3,and 360 got rid of most of the problems that you had and added 8 new modes and more characters. also they added a new feature where if you get a specific assist trophy with a specific character you get another super move to use. for example, if? you get the assist trophy cheese with billy and mandy than billy and cheese with scream like crazy and give you an invincibility type super for as long as the assist trophy lasts. the new versions are worth a buy

I thought Punch? Time Explosion XL was solid. Not AMAZINGLY UBER EPIC BEST GAME EVER but it's definitely solid! I don't know if there is anyway to do team battles. Plus I'm not great at the game controls. XD

XL is so much fun on my PS3. I skipped this? game because I do not own a 3DS, but XL is a lot of fun. I'd like to see you review the console version, because the issues you had in this game are mostly not present in the XL version. :)
