i've played SS? all the way the through the things i didn't like was the fact using the wii motion plus made the games combat feel slow and somtimes awkward and item selection was slow and awkard especialy in combat.

Skyward Sword was GREAT. I played it myself and beat it and I too found it? quite troublesome to shift between gears, but that's because it was something new. I got used to it after some point in the game, it got much easier to shift.
The story line was great, the items was great, and I thought a lot of concepts of the game were original.
You need to play and beat the game completely before making such bold statements.
